Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Executive Director, Members, Officers and Staff of the Council to be public servants.— The Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Executive Director, Member, Officers and Staff of the Council, when acting or purporting to act in pursuance of any provisions of this Act or any rule or order or direction made or issued under this Act shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code (Central Act XLV of 1860).
