Board or Boards of Studies.— (1) The Board shall constitute a Board or Boards of Studies for different subjects or groups of subjects, as may be considered necessary from time to time. (2) Each Board of Studies shall ordinarily consist of such number of members, but not less than five and not more than seven members all of whom need not be members of the Board, as the Board may decide. (3) The Convenor and the members of the Board of Studies shall be appointed by the Board. (4) Any two or more Boards of Studies may, with the consent of the Chairman of the Board and shall, when so required by the Board, meet and act in concurrence and render a joint report on any matter with which they are severally and jointly concerned. In such cases the quorum of the joint meeting will be the majority of the members of the Board of Studies meeting jointly. The Chairman of the joint session shall be elected by the joint meeting. (5) All proceedings of the Board of studies shall be treated as confidential, and in particular, the discussion on the merits and demerits of text-books shall not be divulged.
