Meetings of the Board

Meetings of the Board.— (1) The Board shall on a date to be fixed by the Chairman of the Board, meet not less than twice in every year, and six months shall ordinarily intervene between two consecutive meetings. (2) The Chairman of the Board — (a) if he thinks fit, may, and (b) upon a requisition in writing signed by not less than one-third of the total number of members of the Board shall, convene a special meeting of the Board after giving a notice of seven days in the case of clause (a) and on a date not later than twenty one days from the date of receipt of the request by the Chairman in the case of clause (b).
