Disciplinary Action.— In addition to the imposition of fines under sections 11, 12 or13, the Government, may, if it is satisfied that the designated officer or the Appellate Authority, as the case may be, has failed to discharge the duties assigned to him/her under this Act without sufficient or reasonable cause, contemplate or commence disciplinary action against him/her under the Service Rules applicable to him/her.
