Members, officers and other employees of Board and committees deemed to be public servants.— All members, officers and other employees of the Board, the members of committees, and all other persons entrusted with the execution of any function under this Act, shall be deemed, when acting or purporting to act in pursuance of any of the provisions of this Act, to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (45 of 1860).
