Re-establishment of Council after dissolution.— On the issue of an order of dissolution under sub-section, (3) of section 300, general election shall be held and the Council shall be re-established 537[within six months of its dissolution] on such date as the Government may specify in the order of dissolution. 538[Provided that where the remainder of the period for which the dissolved Council would have continued is less than six months, it shall not be necessary to hold any election under this section for constituting the Council for such period.] 534 Inserted by the Amendment Act 13 of 1994. 535 Substituted by the Amendment Act 13 of 1994. 536 Substituted by the Amendment Act 13 of 1994. 537 Inserted by the Amendment Act 13 of 1994. 538 Inserted by the Amendment Act 13 of 1994. 183 539[302A.
