Definitions.— In this Act, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context,— (a) the ‘said Act’ means the Goa Medical Council Act, 1991 (Act 6 of 1991); (b) the ‘said date’ means the date on which the said Act came into force; (c) ‘notification’ means notification published by the Government in the Official Gazette under the said Act; (d) ‘Registrar’ means the Registrar appointed under section 32 of the said Act.
