Power to make rules.— (1) Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, make rules generally to carry out the purposes of this Act. (2) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power such rules may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:— (a) the mode of issue and service of a summons or notice under this Act; (b) the execution of orders and warrants issued by a Mamlatdar‟s Court; (c) the payment of costs incurred in procuring the attendance of witnesses; (d) the scale of costs to be awarded to the successful party; (e) 2[ ] (f) the books, registers and accounts to be maintained and the returns to be submitted by the Mamlatdar; (g) any other matter which has to be or may be prescribed. (3) All rules made under this Act shall be laid on the table of the Legislative Assembly after they are made and shall be subject to such modifications as the Assembly may make during the session in which they are so laid or the session immediately following.
