Definitions.— (1) In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) “district” means a territorial division constituting a district for the purpose of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974) ; (b) “place” includes a house, building, vehicle, a tent, a booth or other erection, whether permanent or temporary, or any area whether enclosed or open; (c) “person” includes any Company or association, or body of persons whether incorporated or not; (d) “State Government” means the Government of Goa.
