Section 33

Removal of doubts

Removal of doubts.— For the removal of doubts, it is hereby declared that nothing in this Act shall be construed to authorize the Lokayukta or Upa-Lokayukta to investigate any complaint against,— (i) the Chief Justice or any Judge of the High Court, or a Judicial Officer of subordinate Courts within the meaning of Chapter VI of Part VI of the Constitution of India; (ii) any officer or servant of any Court as referred to in clause (i); (iii) the Chairman or a member of the Goa Public Service Commission and 8[ ]; (iv) the Election Commissioners and the Regional Commissioners referred to in Article 324 of the Constitution of India and the Chief Electoral office of Goa; (v) functionaries appointed under Article 323-A and 323-B of the Constitution of India 9[ ]; and 10 [(vi) The State Election Commissioner referred to in Article 243 K of the Constitution of India.]
