Bar on legal proceedings.— No suit or legal proceeding shall be instituted against the local authority or any officer as duly authorized by the Government in this behalf, in respect of any act in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of the provisions of this Act. 6[8.Protection of action taken in good faith.— No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against any person for anything which is done or intended to be done in good faith under this Act.
