Interpretation.— Unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context, the words and expressions used in this Act shall have the same meaning as assigned to them in the Goa, Daman and Diu Municipalities Act, 1968 (Act 7 of 1969), the Goa Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 (Act 14 of 1994) and the Goa, Daman and Diu Town and Country Planning Act, 1974 (Act 21 of 1975).
