Section 7

Disqualifications and removal

Disqualifications and removal.— (1) No person shall be appointed as a member of the Board if he— (a) is an officer or servant under the Board, or (b) is an undischarged insolvent; or (c) is found to be lunatic or becomes of unsound mind; or (d) is or has been convicted by a criminal court for any offence involving moral turpitude; or (e) is in arrears of any sum due to the Board. (2) The Government may remove from office a member who— (a) is or has become subject to any of the disqualifications mentioned in sub-section (1) ; or (b) is absent without leave of the Board for more than three consecutive meetings of the Board.
