Establishment of Board.— (1) The Government shall, by notification in the Official Gazette establish a Board for the whole of the 11 [State of Goa ] by the name 12 [the Goa Labour Welfare Board”] for the purpose of administering the Fund and to carry out such other functions as may be assigned to the Board by or under the Act. ---4--- (2) The Board shall be a body corporate having perpetual succession and a common seal and shall, by the said name sue and be sued.
