Duty of Inspector to report failure to effect repairs.— It shall be the duty of the Inspector of any village within the limits of which any Second-class Canal or portion of such canal is situated to report to the Mamlatdar without unnecessary delay any failure or neglect to carry out any of the repairs specified in section 69.
