Powers to seek additional information.— (1) On receipt of an application, the Board or the Competent Authority or the Consultant, as the case may be, may seek and obtain additional information, if any required, from the applicant. In case such information is required to the Competent Authority or the Consultant, a copy of letter addressed to applicant shall be forwarded to Board also. (2) The applicant shall furnish the required information as expeditiously as possible to the Board and in case such information is required by the Competent Authority or the Consultant, the applicant shall forward the information to the Competent Authority or the Consultant as well as to the Board. (3) The Competent Authority shall send its orders sanctioning or rejecting the application, as the case may be, to the Board and the Board shall forward the same to the applicant within the prescribed time.
