Acquisition of land for the Corporation to be a public purpose.— Any land required by the Corporation for carrying out any of its functions shall be deemed to be needed for a public purpose and may be acquired under the provisions of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Central Act 1 of 1894) or any other law for the time being in force.
