Repeal.— (1) Any law in force in the Union territory of Goa, Daman and Diu or any area thereof corresponding to any of the provisions of this Act or any part thereof shall stand repealed as from the date of coming into force of this Act. (2) The provisions of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (as made applicable to the Union territory of Goa, Daman and Diu by section 2 of the Goa, Daman and Diu General Clauses Act, 1965) shall apply to the repeal under sub-section (1) as if the laws referred to therein were enactments.
