Duties of Wild Life Preservation Officer.— It shall be the duty of the Wild Life Preservation Officer to advise the Government of Goa, Daman and Diu through the Conservator of Forests— (1) in the selection of areas to be declared as Game Sanctuaries; (2) in formulating the policy in granting licences and permits under this Act and administration of Game Sanctuaries; (3) in the matter of framing rules under section 43; and (4) on any other matter connected with the preservation and protection of animals and birds which may be referred to it by the Government of Goa, Daman and Diu.
