Appointment of Wild Life Preservation Officer, Game Wardens and other Game Officers.— (1) The Government of Goa, Daman and Diu may for the purposes of this Act appoint— (a) The Wild Life Preservation Officer for the whole of Union territory of Goa, Daman and Diu; (b) The Game Wardens, either honorary or stipendiary; (c) Such other officers and servants as may be necessary. (2) The honorary Game Warden shall ordinarily hold office for a period of three years: Provided that the Government of Goa, Daman and Diu may terminate his tenure of office at any time without assigning any reason. (3) The Game Wardens and other officers and servants appointed under this section shall be subordinate to the Wild Life Preservation Officer. – 3 –
