Power to make rules

Power to make rules.— (1) Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, make rules for carrying out the purposes of this Act. (2) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing powers, such -14- rules may provide for — (a) the maintenance of registers, books and forms by a hotel-keeper, dealer or travel agent for conduct of business; (b) the form of application for registration and for certificate; (c) the fee for registration; (d) the manner for giving notices under this Act; (e) classification of hotels and travel agents; (f) qualification for registration as travel agents; (g) manner of publication of the names and address of the persons and of the hotels removed from the register or to whom registration has been refused; (h) the place where the prescribed authority shall hold enquiry under this Act; and (i) any other matter which is to be or may be prescribed.
