Auxiliary Fire Force.— (1) Whenever it appears to the Government that it is necessary to augment the services it might raise an auxiliary Fire Force by employment of volunteers on such areas and on such terms and conditions as it may deem fit. (2) Every such volunteer shall receive a certificate in the prescribed form, and shall have the same powers and protection and shall be liable to all such duties and penalties and be subordinate to the same authorities as members of the ordinary Fire Force.
