Superintendence and Control of Fire Force.— (1) Superintendence and Control of the Fire Force shall vest in the Director/Chief Fire Officer and shall be carried on by him in accordance with the provisions of this Act and of any rules made thereunder. – 3 – (2) Government may appoint such officer as it may deem fit to assist the Director/Chief Fire Officer in the discharge of duties.
