Bar to recovery of any other sum from tenant.— Save as otherwise provided in this Act, it shall not be lawful for any landlord to levy any rate, tax, fee, cess or other charge for service of any description or denomination whatsoever from any tenant in respect of any land held by him as a tenant other than the rent lawfully due in respect of such land.
