Substituted vide Amendment Act 8 of 1986, Original provisions read as follows: All the members of the comunidade and even the non members are competent to denounce the encroachment of land. They shall be, however, liable to the penalty prescribed in the paragraph 2 of the following article, if the complaints proved to be made in bad faith and the denouncement is held as untenable. This amendment come into force with immediate effect i.e. 14-10-1986 the day assented by the Governor.
