Power of Corporation to acquire and hold movable and immovable property.— The Corporation shall have power to acquire and hold property, both movable and immovable, within or without the limits of the City, and subject to the provisions of this Act and the rules made thereunder, to transfer any property held by itself and to enter into contracts and to do all other things necessary for the purposes of this Act.
