Councillors and Municipal Officers, etc., to be deemed public servants.— Every officer or servant in the employment of the Corporation whether for the whole or part of his time, and every Councillor of the Corporation shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and for the purposes of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
