Destroying direction-posts, lamp-posts, etc.— Whoever, without being authorised by the Commissioner, defaces or disturbs any municipal direction-post, lamp-post or lamp or damages any municipal light in any public place, shall be punishable with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees.
