Application to District Court.— Where the Corporation or any municipal officer or servant or any other person is required by this Act or by any rule or bye-law made thereunder to pay any expenses or any compensation, the amount to be paid and, if --133-- necessary, the apportionment of the same, shall in case of dispute, be determined by the District Court, North Goa at Panaji, on application being made to him for this purpose at any time within six months from the date when such expenses or compensation first become claimable. This section shall not apply to any case which is otherwise provided for in the Land Acquisition Act, 1894.
