Sewage and rain-water drains to be distinct.— Whenever it is provided in this Act that steps shall or may be taken for the effectual drainage of any premises, the Commissioner may require that there shall be one drain for offensive matter and sewage and another drain for rain-water and unpolluted sub-soil water, each employing into separate municipal drains or other places set apart by the Commissioner for the discharge of drainage, or into other suitable places.
