Power of Commissioner to demolish drains, etc.— The Commissioner may, by notice, require any person who may construct any new drain, privy, latrine, urinal, absorption pit, disposal work, cesspool or receptacle for filth or refuse without his permission in writing or contrary to his directions or the provisions of this Act or the rules or byelaws made thereunder or who may construct, rebuild or open any drain, privy, latrine, urinal, absorption pit, disposal work cesspool or receptacle for filth or refuse which the Commissioner has ordered to be demolished for stopped or not to be made, to demolish the drain, privy, latrine, urinal, absorption pit, disposal work, cesspool or receptacle, or to make such alteration therein as he may think fit. --78--
