(1) This Act may be called the Employment of Children Act, 1938. (2) It extends to [the whole of India] [xxxx]. Subs. by the A.O., 1950, for the words "all the Provinces of India". Subs. by Act 3 of 1951, for the words "except Part B States" which was omitted by Act 51 of 1970, Sec.2 and Schedule, (w.e.f. 1-9-1971).
