Statutes and Ordinances to be published in the official Gazette and to be laid before the Legislature:- (1) Every Statute and Ordinance made under this Act shall be published inthe official Gazette. (2) Every Statute and Ordinance made under this Act shall be laid, as soon as may be after it is made, before the House of the Legislative Assembly of Delhi while it is in session for a total period of thirty days which may be comprised in one session or two or more successive sessions, and if, before the expiry of the session immediately following the session or the successive sessions aforesaid, the House agrees in making any modification inthe Statute or the Ordinance or the House agrees that the Statute or the Ordinance, as the case may be, should not be made, the Statute or the Ordinance shall thereafter have effect only in such modified form or be of no effect, as the case may be; so, however, that any such modification or annulment shall be without prejudice to the validity of anything previously done under that Statute or Ordinance as the case may be.
