Powers, functions and meetings of the Court- (1) Subject to the provisions of this Act, the Court shall review, from time to time, the broad policies and programmes of the University and suggest measures for improvement and development of the University, the Court shall have the following other powers and functions namely:- (a) to consider the broad policies or any proposed modification thereof by the Board of Management; (b) to advice the Chancellor inrespect of any matter which may be referredto it for advice; and ?/<c [PART IV DELHIGAZETTE :EXTRAORDINARY ' 24 # (c) to perform such other functions as may be prescribed. (2)The Court shall ordinarily meet at least once in every calendar year, and that meeting of the Court shall be called by the Registrar with the approval of the Chancellor; (3)For every meetingofthe Court, normally fifteen days notice shall be given; (4)One halfofthe members existing on the rolls ofthe Court shall form the quorum; (5)Each member shall have one vote and if there be equality of votes on any question to be determined by the Court, Chairperson of the Court shall, in addition, have a casting vote; (6)In case of difference of opinion among the members, the opinion ofthe majority shall prevail;
