Vice-Chancellor of the University — (1) The Vice-Chancellor shall be * scholar*, eminence in ore of the areas of engineering, technology, sciences. management and sawed areas related to the University and having rich administrative end academic experience In an institution of ?either leaner* ill The Vice-chancellor will be appointed by the Chancelteref the Unive (3) The Vice-Chancellor shall be the principal academic and executive officer of the University and shall be responsible lbr proper administration of the University and for imparting instruction and maintenance of discipline therein and give effect to the decisions of all the authorities of the University and all other staff of the University shall he subordinate to him; (4) The Vice-Chanceilor shalt hive the power to delegate some of his powers to any of his subordbuitis under Intimation to Board of Management; (S) In case the Vice-Chancellor Is on leave, in his absence, Pro-Vice Chancellor as nominated by the ,vice-thancellor or In hisirtisence, a Dean of the University as nominated by the Vice-Chancellor • shall perform the funcdons of Vice-Chancellor;
