Power of Central Government to make rules

Power of Central Government to make rules.—(1) Subject to the other provisions of this Act, the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, make rules for carrying out the purposes of this Act. (2) Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:— (a) the method by which percentages in the case of liquid preparations shall be calculated for the purposes of clauses (v), (vi) (xiv) and (xv) of section 2;
