Repeal.–– The Members of Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (Salaries, Allowances and Pension) Order, 1993 shall cease to have effect as from the date of the enforcement of this Act. 1[11 “Power to make rules.–– (1) The Government may be notification in the official Gazette make rules for carrying out the purposes of this Act. (2) Every rule made under this Act shall be laid, as soon as may be, after it is made before the Legislative Assembly of Delhi while it is in session which may be comprised in one session or in two successive sessions, and if, before the expiry of the session immediately following the session or the successive sessions aforesaid the House agrees in making any modification in the rule or the House agrees that the rule should not be made, the rules shall thereafter have effect only in such modified form or be of no effect, as the case may be, so however, that any such modification or annulment shall be without prejudice to the validity of anything previously done under that rule”.] –––––––––––––– 1Subs. by sec. 2 of Delhi Act 8 of 2009. 2Subs. by sec. 8 (b) of Delhi Act 6 of 2002. 3Ins. by sec. 4 of Delhi Act 2 of 1996.
