The Chief Commissioner may, by notification in zlegation the official Gazette, delegate to any officer or authority sub- powers. ordinate to him any of the powers conferred on the Chief Commissioner by this Act to be exercised subject to any restrictions and conditions as may be specified in the noti- fication.
