Where a Gaon Sabha has been charged with the Consequence duty of collecting and realizing the land revenue or other of collection dues under section 133 the following consequences will fol- by , l08w :- Gaon Sabha. (a) every Bhumidhar shall, without prejudice to the provisions of section 108, be liable to the Gaon Panchayat for the payment of the land revenue or other dues for the time being payable by the Bhumidhars, (b) the amount d land revenue or other dues col- lected or realized by any member (including Pradhan or Uppradhan) of the Gam Panchayat or any mem- ber of the Gaon Sabha and not paid to the Government may, without prejudice to his liability under any other law for the timc being in force, be realized as arrears of land revenue from him or his property in the hands of his legal representatives, and (c) the Gaon Panchayat shall be paid a remunera- tion at such rate as may be prescribed on the collections made by it after the amount of land revenue or other dues collected have been credited to the prescribed fund.
