The Deputy Commissioner shall enquire annually revaue into the case of all lands released conditionally or for a- grant, term from the payment of land revenue. The Ddhi Land Refmms Act, 1954 107 (Chapter ZV-CoEr2ection of Lmd Revenue) If the condition is broken, he shall report the case to the Chief Commissioner for orders; and if the period has expired or if the grantee, where the grant is for the life of the grantee, has died, he shall assess the land and report his proceedings to the Chief Commissioner for sanction.
