When the State or a part thereof has been brought under settlement, the Settlement Officer or an Assistant Sei- m,~. tlement m c e r shall inspect every village under settlement The Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 3 (Chapter IV--Ld Revenue) and shall, in such manner and on such principles as may be prescribed, divide the State or the part into soil classes and assessment circles.
