The Chief Commissioner may, at any time after a Revision period of thirty years from the first settlement, direct a fresh settlement of settlement (hereinafter referred to as revision settlement) of :,",:- land revenue of the whole or part of the State: Provided that no enhancement of revenue shall t%ke effect before the expiration of the settlement for the timz be- ing in force.
