Amendment of section 24 - In section 24 of the principal Act, after sub-section (4), the following new sub-section (5) shall be inserted, namely:- (5) Any person who makes an application for entry of his name in the register under sub-section (1) shall be required to submit an affidavit to the effect that he hs not applied for registration in any other State or Union Territory and that if his name was registered with any other State or Union Terrotory at any time, he shall also submit a certificate of cancellation issued by the Board or any other competent authority of that State or Union Territory, as the case may be, alongwith his affidavit."
