Penalty for uklawful advertisement Whoever prints, publishes or gives an advertisement directly or indirectly in any media soliciting the use of any liquor, shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months or with fine which may extend to ten lath rupees, or with both: PROVIDED that this section shall not apply to catalogue and price list and advertisement generally or specially approved by the Excise Commissioner for display at the points of sale for consumer information and education.
