Short t i t l e , e x t e n t and commencement- ( l ) This Act may be c a l l e d the Delhi Road Transport A u t h o r i t y Act,1950. (2) I t extends t o the whole of t h e S t a t e of D e l h i . (3) I t s h a l l come i n t o force on such d a t e as the Central Government m,y be n o t i f i c a t i o n in t h e o f f i c i a l Gazette, appoint. 2- D e f i n i t i o n s - In t h i s Act, unless thore is anything .repugnant in the s u b j a c t or c o n t e x t .
