Local authorities to assist All local authorities shall render such held and assistance and furnish such information to the appropriate authority as it may require for the discharge of its functions, and shall make available to the appropriate authority for inspection and examination such records, maps, plans and other documents as may be necessary for the discharge of its functions. 11
