Penalty for contravention of certain provision of the Act Whoever contravention any of the provision's of this Act or fails to comply with any order or direction given under this Act, for which no penalty has been elsewhere provided in this Act, shall be liable to pay a penalty which may extend up to ten thousand rupees and in the case of a continuing contravention or failure with an additional penalty which may extend up to five hundred rupees for every day during which such contravention or failure continues after the first such contravention or failure. 10 • C/so
