Repeal and savings- (1) As from the date of the commencement of this Act. the F..a.st Punjab Ayun'edit and Unani PractitionersAct. 1949 (East Punjab Act 14 of 1949). as in force in the National Capital Territory of Delhi shall stand repealed. (2) Notwithstanding the provisions of sub-section (1}- (a) the pre\'ious operation of the provisions so repeated or anything duly done or suffered thereunder; (b) subject to the provisions of sub-section (I) anything don~ or any action taken under the Act hereby repealed shall. in so far as it is not inconsistent with this Act. be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act and shall continue to be in force accordingly unless and untit superseded by anything done or any action taken under Ihis Art
