Power to declare protected monument, and protected area to be no longer such monument or area.- If the Government is of the opinion it is no longer necessary to protect any protected monument or protected area, it may, by notification in the Official Gazette make a declaration to that effect and thereupon such monument or area shall cease to be a protected monument or protected area, as the case may be.
