Notification of intention of regulating marketing of notified agricultural produce in area – (1) The Government may, by notification, published in the official Gazette, and such other manner as may be prescribed, declare its intention of regulating the marketing of such agricultural produce, and in such area, as my be specified in the notification, in accordance with the provision of this Act. Provided that no such area shall be included in the notification except after consultation with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, New Delhi Municipal Council, Delhi Cantonment Board and the Delhi Development Authority, as the case may be. (2) The notification may also be published in at least two local newspapers published in such languages as the Government may from time to time specify by order in this behalf, or in such other manner as, in the opinion of the Government, is best calculated to bring to the notice of persons in that area, the intention aforesaid. (3) The notification under sub-section (1) shall state that any objections or suggestions that may be received by the Government, within such period not being less than forty five days, to be specified in the notification, shall be considered by it.
